Use the Peaks and Features checkboxes to show summits and features such as roads, water sources etc. Use the Arrows checkbox to add direction arrows to a displayed route, and use the Points checkbox to show individual points on a route for editing.
Enter number of days, daily mileage and/or ascent limits to split a planned walk into daily sections.
Click ↝ to load a new route from your device, ↻ to undo the last route operation, 🗑 to delete the current route, ⇄ to reverse route direction or ↧ to download the route to your device.
On the map, left click anywhere to show the coordinates and altitude of the clicked point. Right click to add a new point to the end of a route or to start a new route.
To edit a route, enable points display and left drag points to modify the route. Left click a route segment to insert a new point. Right click a point to remove it, edit its altitude or to add/remove features.
The route being edited is shown with segments in different colours to indicate uphill and downhill gradients. The gradients are:-
Steep uphillModerate uphillGentle uphillRoughly levelGentle downhillModerate downhillSteep downhillUse the GPX button to download the GPX file for the displayed route to your device.
